CC Wichita's senior pastor, Patrick Farrell often remarks that he came to Christ through "process of elimination."
I looked for peace everywhere — school & work, religion & mysticism, sports & fitness, drugs & alcohol, gambling & sex. Finally, at the bottom of a long, downward spiral I cried out to God to rescue me from myself. Much to my surprise, He did!
Patrick joined the staff of Calvary Chapel Old Bridge in New Jersey immediately following 9/11, transitioning overnight from small business owner to logistics coordinator for relief teams traveling to minister at Ground Zero and throughout the NYC metro area. A short time afterward he became the church’s missions pastor, and eventually its assistant pastor.
In 2010 the Lord called the Farrell family to Wichita where Patrick serves as senior pastor and his wife, Ann, oversees the media & technology ministries. Their daughter Michaela is currently a full-time student at Evangel University.
Calvary’s mission statement “Win, Build, and Send” mirrors the Farrells’ own passion to equip the next generation of pastors, leaders, missionaries, and ministers who can often be found living in their home as well as serving at the church.
Patrick has an MDiv from Trinity Biblical University and a BA from Princeton University. He also completed extensive graduate study in counseling at the University of St. Thomas, and has been an adjunct faculty member at the Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta, CA.
